Gearing Up for Spring:
Work Party at the Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground!
Spring is just around the corner, and that means exciting things are happening in Mineral! With the Easter Egg Hunt, the campground opening, and the 32nd Annual Mineral Lake Fishing Derby fast approaching, we’re getting ready to welcome the community for another great season.
To ensure everything is in top shape, we’re hosting a work party at the Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground on:
📅 Saturday, April 5
🕤 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
We need all hands on deck to help with:
✔️ Moving picnic tables & fire pits
✔️ Cleaning up the lake shore
✔️ Leveling campsites & boat parking areas
✔️ General groundskeeping & maintenance tasks
Many hands make light work, and we’d love for you to join us! If you can attend, please let us know by replying or reaching out. Also, if you have lawn tools, cordless drills, saws, or impact drivers, please bring them along—while we have some tools, we don’t have enough for everyone.
Bonus Work Days:
For those available earlier, some of us will also be working at the campground on Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1. If you’d like to lend a hand on those days, please contact Steve Mayer at 901-359-1858.
