The following are our Campground Rules / Terms & Conditions. This will let you know what is expected of you, as our guest, and what you can expect from us. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time while they are Making Memories on Mineral Lake at the Lions Den Campground!

In case of emergency, dial 911.  Give them your address as being MINERAL LAKE LIONS DEN – 113 E. Front Street, Mineral, Washington 98355.  Be prepared to meet the authorities at the front gate of the campground to direct them to your location. 

We have a Campground Host and Assistant Host on site.  Please notify them of your emergency after you have called 911 and we can be reached at (360)492-3152.

Cancellation Policy

We require 7 days cancellation notice to receive a full refund less 10% processing fee. 

No refunds if cancelled less than 7 days. 

There are NO REFUNDS for cancelling on a holiday weekend or opening weekend of fishing (historically the 4th weekend of April). 

The following are the designated holiday weekends:

  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th
  • Labor Day

Refund Policy

Refunds are prohibited for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature, or removal. Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form that it was originally paid less 10% processing fee.  All refunds processed via credit/debit card will be processed back to the original credit/debit card used, no exceptions.  No refunds if cancelled less than 7 days.

Payment Policy

Payment is due in full at time of booking. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept cash or checks.

Length of Stay

There is a 13-day stay limit. At least 48 hours must elapse before a new reservation can be made. The 13-day stay limit also applies to camping equipment. Camping equipment may not remain in place longer than the stay limit, even if used by a different person or group. Before you leave, please make sure to clean your camping area.

General Terms
  • There is a $3 processing fee for all reservations.
  • Cancellations and changes will incur a 10% processing fee.
  • We do not accept cash or personal checks.
  • The person registered will be responsible for the condition of the assigned campsite.
  • Rates are only guaranteed at the time of booking and are subject to change at any time without notice.  Changes made by you to your reservation after it has been confirmed will incur a $10 change fee and may result in higher rates.
  • If a customer departs prior to the scheduled check-out date, the remaining dates will be canceled without refund.
  • We reserve the right to deny a reservation and access to the campground to anyone.

Check In/Check Out

Check in is after 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.  All quests must register at the office.  If you intend to arrive after 9:00 PM you will need to notify us so we can let you through the gate into the campground.  Only under certain circumstances will arrivals after 9:00 PM be granted.  If you arrive after our gate is closed without advance notice, you will need to park outside of the park on the street and walk into your site. 

Office hours are 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM.  We can be reached after hours at (360)-492-3152 for any emergencies.

Check out time is 12:00 PM.  (This does not mean unhooking at 12:00 PM).  If you stay past check out time you will be automatically charged $20.00.  If you have not vacated the campsite by 1:00 PM you will automatically be charged for an additional day.  If you wish to stay another night check with the office, if your site is reserved you may need to move to another site.

Site Limitations

Rates are based upon 4 persons per site.  Most tent sites allow 2 tents and 1 vehicle. RV sites allow 1 RV and 1 tow/towed vehicle.  Small RV sites allow for 1 to 2 tents/1 vehicle or 1 camper van or 1 pop up or a truck camper. A vehicle pass will be given at time of check in and must be visibly displayed in the RV and vehicle.

There is an additional $5 per person up to 2 people maximum per campsite. Therefore, there is a total 6 people maximum overnight per campsite allowed.

Visitor Day Pass (Drive In or Walk In)- $5.00 (includes 1 vehicle and 4 people maximum) Visitors must leave by 9:00 PM. ALL Visitors must check in at the office and will be given a Lions Den day pass that must be visibly displayed in the vehicle. Visitors are the responsibility of the original guest registered and must abide by all terms and conditions.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.  Please be courteous to other guests around you.  Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. Inconsiderate guests, use of profanity or violence towards other guests or campground hosts will result in law enforcement being contacted immediately, and you will be removed from the campground without a refund.

No generator use allowed during the quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Campfire Rings

Campfires can only be in the fire rings provided.  Please burn only approved firewood and always monitor the fire.  Any burning of lumber of any kind is prohibited.  This includes pallets and any wood with screws, nails, staples etc.

Children

Children under 12 must always be supervised by an adult.  Please accompany small children to the vaulted toilets.  Please do not allow children to walk through other guests’ sites.  Children under the age of 12 must wear a life jacket while on docks or in boats according to Washington State law.  All children should be in their site by dusk or risk being kidnapped by Bigfoot.

Pets

All pets must be on a leash at all times.  Maximum 3 pets per campsite. Any disruptive or aggressive pets will result in termination of your stay without refund.  It is the responsibility of the pet owner to control excessive barking and whining.  Pets may not be left in an unattended campsite.  Management has the right to contact animal control should they witness any dangerous behavior.

Please be a good neighbor and immediately clean up your pet’s waste. For your convenience, we have provided pet waste bags in various locations throughout the campground.  Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund and/or a $25 cleanup fee.

Garbage

Campers are responsible for keeping their assigned campsite clean.  Trash must be bagged before putting in the trash dumpsters.  Please DO NOT dispose of broken furniture or camping equipment, motor oil, or any toxic or hazardous waste items in the dumpsters. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.   NOTE: If any items are left behind, all items will be discarded.  A minimum of $50/hr cleaning fee will be assessed for any trash that is left in the firepits or around the campsite.

Dump Station

The Dump Station is $30 PER DUMP.  We do not accept personal checks. Grey and black wastewater must be dumped in the Dump Station and not on the ground.  Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a $500 fine and immediate dismissal from the campground without refund.

Vaulted Toilets

For the comfort of our guests, toilets are open 24/7 with the exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day.  We ask your help in keeping the restrooms clean.  PLEASE DO NOT DUMP DIAPERS, WIPES AND TRASH DOWN THE TOILETS.  Please notify the Campground Host or Assistant Host for any issues.

Off Highway Vehicles (OHV)

Scooters, dirt bikes, ATV’s and Side by Sides are welcome in the park but must comply with all Washington State laws.  They are only to be used to get you to and from your site and not as recreational within the campground.  The speed limit in the campground is 5 mph and will be strictly enforced.  Please see Vehicle Parking section for additional information on parking.

Boat Parking/Moorage

Complimentary boat moorage/launch and boat trailer parking are for our campground guests only.  Boat trailers must be parked in the designated boat trailer parking and not within your campsite.

Moorage is on a first come first serve basis.

Vehicle Parking

We allow one vehicle per tent site and one vehicle per RV site. Any additional vehicle such as an OHV that cannot fit in your site will be charged an additional $5 per day. 

There is free street parking available outside the campground. There is no charge for any guest walking into the campground, but they must register with the office and leave by 9:00 PM.

General Campsite Etiquette

  • No clothesline or tarps are allowed.
  • Extension cords or hoses must be within your designated campsite.
  • No modifications to the campsites or structures within the campgrounds.
  • Auto repairs and maintenance are strictly prohibited.
  • Fireworks and sparklers are not allowed on any Lions Den property.
  • Vandalism or destruction of Lions Den property or other campers’ property will not be tolerated. You will be charged a minimum of $100 based on the extent of the damage. 

Any violations to the above could be cause for immediate removal from the campground without a refund.

Profanity, violence towards other guests or campground hosts and/or any disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Law-enforcement will be contacted immediately, and you will be removed from the campground without a refund.

Alcohol/Marijuana 

Alcohol beverages and legalized marijuana are allowed but must be contained to your site.  Please be responsible.  Illicit drug use, drunkenness or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.  Law enforcement will be contacted immediately, and you will be removed from the campground without a refund.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property

The Mineral Lake Lions is not responsible for loss, damage, or claims to property of guests due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause.  For maximum security we ask guests to lock valuables in their car and out of sight.

COVID 19 Policy

  • Limit the number in your group to 6 members of the same household
  • Visitors will be allowed until 9:00 PM. All are asked to socially distance themselves from others in the campground.
  • Wash hands often.
  • Pack out what you pack in.
