End of Summer Celebration
One More Summer Weekend. Let’s Make It Count.

School may be back, but summer isn’t quite finished yet!
Bring the whole family to Mineral Lake for one more Saturday filled with fishing, music, good food, lake time, and memories together.
Saturday, September 5, 2026
Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground
113 Front St. E., Mineral, Washington
This is a FREE family event, open to the entire community.
Kids Trout Pond
3:00–6:00 PM
Kids ages 14 and under can try their luck in the Kids Trout Pond. Whether they have fished before or are holding a fishing pole for the first time, it’s a fun chance to experience the excitement of catching a trout.
Free School Supplies for the First 100 Kids
The first 100 children to attend will receive a Lions bag filled with school supplies.
It’s our way of helping local kids begin the school year with a few things they need—and a little extra encouragement from the Mineral Lake Lions Club.
Food Trucks
Come hungry!
Food trucks will be at the campground with great food and treats available for purchase throughout the celebration.
Live Music With Sammy Steele
6:00–9:00 PM
Stay for an evening of live country music beside beautiful Mineral Lake.
Sammy Steele brings a gravelly baritone, outlaw-country roots, and a little Southern rock to the stage. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, find a comfortable spot near the Fishing Hole, and enjoy the music.
You can also listen from the lake, whether you’re floating in a kayak, paddleboard, raft, or boat.
Make a Weekend of It
Why come for only one afternoon?
Bring the camper or tent and squeeze in one more summer weekend at Mineral Lake. Fish. Play. Relax. Listen to the music. And make a few more family memories before summer gives way to fall.
