There’s a buzz in the air, and if you’ve been anywhere near Mineral lately—you can feel it… Derby Weekend is HERE! 🎉
The Annual Mineral Lake Fishing Derby kicks off this Saturday and Sunday, April 25–26, 2026, and we are ready to welcome anglers, families, and visitors from near and far for one of our favorite weekends of the year.
Whether you’re here to fish, relax, eat, or just soak in the small-town magic… there’s something for everyone.
🐟 What You Need to Know
The Mineral Lake Fishing Derby is open to anglers of all ages and experience levels—but there are a few important things to keep in mind:
- All anglers 15+ must have:
- A valid Washington State fishing license
- A valid state-issued ID
- Youth under 15 must be accompanied by an adult with valid ID
- ALL participants must purchase derby tickets BEFORE their line hits the water
- Boats MUST sign an attestation before launching (per Washington State regulations)
- Any fish entered into the derby must be available for inspection
👉 No exceptions—this is required for participation

Saturday brings a full lineup of food, drinks, and entertainment:
